The incident came to light yesterday after a rape case was registered by Gandhinagar police yesterday against Suresh Goud, a physical education teacher, on the complaint of child rights activists from Mahila Samkhya and Bala Sangham, they said.
The activists said the 14-year-old victim, studying in Bhoiguda government school in Secunderabad is a orphan and was sexually abused by Goud for a year.The minor girl has been sent for medical examination and the accused is absconding, police said.
