IIT JEE (Advanced) 2015 results declared, Satvat Jagwani from MP tops the list

The results for the IIT  Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2015 was declared on Thursday.

Satvat Jagwani followed by Janak Agrawal of Madhya Pradesh topped the exam which paves the way for admission to the coveted technology and engineering institutes. He appeared for the entrance exam from IIT-Kanpur zone and scored 469 out of 504.

Of the 1.24 lakh candidates who appeared for the entrance exam this year, 26,456 have qualified.  This year, the cut-off for JEE (Advanced) was 105 for general candidates and for Other Backward Castes (OBCs) it was 70, for Scheduled Castes (SCs) 50 and for Schedule Tribes (STs) it was 44.
