India on Friday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Consulate General of China at Karachi in Pakistan.

“India strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi this morning. We condole the loss of lives in this dastardly attack,” said spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Raveesh Kumar.

Two security personnel have been killed and another was injured while foiling an attack on the Consulate General of China in Karachi. Three terrorists were also killed by the security personnel.

“There can be no justification whatsoever for any act of terrorism. The perpetrators of this heinous attack should be brought to justice expeditiously,” the MEA said in a statement issued in New Delhi. “Such terrorist attacks only strengthen the resolve of the international community to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”
