Sources said that Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao had handed over the dossier to Pakistani High Commissioner Shahid Malik when the latter called on her at the South Block.

New Delhi had earlier given Islamabad four dossiers on the November 26 terrorist attacks that had left over 170 dead and many others injured.

India has been claiming that Saeed is one of the masterminds of the carnage and has given Pakistan enough proofs of his links with the 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists, who attacked Mumbai. But Pakistan has been maintaining that the information and materials provided by India are not enough to prosecute the JuD chief. India believes that Saeed is one of the brains behind 26/11.
