Monsoon Mayhem Highlights: Delhi govt's primary schools, MCD schools to remain closed tomorrow in view of heavy rainfallIncessant rains played havoc for the third consecutive day on Monday in parts of north India, particularly Himachal Pradesh where landslides claimed four more lives even as the Army and NDRF teams stepped in to intensify the relief and rescue operations. Meanwhile, evacuation of people living in low lying areas of Yamuna floodplains began in the evening with the river crossing the danger mark. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has ordered that all MCD schools, MCD-aided, and recognised schools will remain closed for students on Tuesday in view of heavy rainfall. A day off has also been declared for students in Nursery to class 5 in all government and government-aided schools under the Directorate of Education in Delhi.
