Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Wednesday confirmed that the farmers of Madurai can expect good result from the Centre on Wednesday which will be in the favour of farmers.

Earlier, a delegation from Tamil Nadu met Union Minister Kishan Reddy in which the minister assured them that the Tungsten project will not be implemented in Madurai.

They all have come and many of them have come to Delhi for the first time...Today they met Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and villagers have made an appeal. The Minister has assured that the PM always stands with farmers and PM will not make any decision whereby even a single farmer in Tamil Nadu is affected...Minister has given a very positive assurance and a historic news is coming tomorrow because the Minister will take up with PM Narendra Modi and the PM will once against stand with the farmers of Tamil Nadu and tomorrow will be a historic day for all farmers...," K Annamalai said.

After campaigning in favour of Congress, at Geeta Colony in Delhi, Pappu Yadav said If there was someone who made Delhi number 1, it was Sheila Dikshit.

"If there was someone who made Delhi number 1, it was Sheila Dikshit ji and Congress. Arvind Kejriwal neither ever met people from Purvanchal in Delhi nor did he talk about caste census. He also never made Chhath ghats. From being a common man, he became a special man. Congress always fulfils the promises it makes...People have made up their minds to vote for Congress...," he said.
