During the interaction of Indian Community in Japan with the all-party delegation, CPI-M MP Dr John Brittas said, "We are all from 5 different political parties, 3 of which are completely opposed to the ruling party, but we have all come here with a sense of purpose... We give priority to national interest. This is not the first time India has sent our delegations - it was sent during the tenure of former Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and P V Narasimha Rao... India is a democratic country... Whereas Pakistan is a theocratic state... India wants to progress and that is why Pakistan wants to pull us down."
Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said, "Prime Minister Modi and his people were urging others not to politicise the Pahalgam terror attack. Both the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister made this appeal. However, PM Modi is now the first to politicise the issue himself. Same thing happened in Uri and Pulwama."

"We should focus on one goal, to make Bharat Viksit by 2047. We should have the aim of making each State Viksit, each city Viksit, each Nagar Palika Viksit and each village Viksit. If we work on these lines, we will not have to wait till 2047 to become Viksit Bharat.
"We should work in a manner so that policies implemented bring change in the lives of common citizens. Only when people feel the change, it strengthens the change and transforms the change into a movement.

On Operation Sindoor, DMK MP Kanimozhi says, "India had no choice but to respond. But when India responded, we responded responsibly. We ensured no civilians were affected, military bases were unharmed.

Claiming a water crisis in the national capital, Leader of Opposition Atishi has written a letter to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta seeking immediate time to discuss the pressing issue.
Atishi in her letter claims that Delhiites, particularly women and children, are struggling as they are lining up in front of water tankers and purchasing bottled water due to disrupted supplies.
"Scenes of women standing in queues with buckets and children waiting with pots are becoming the new identity of Delhi," Atishi wrote, questioning whether this was the vision promised by the BJP to people of the city.
Criticizing the BJP-led Delhi government, the former chief minister said water supply is being cut off for 24 hours at a time while the administration remains silent.
"Despite the BJP's four-engine government at the Centre, with the LG, MCD and the CM's office, Delhi's citizens are still struggling for basic needs like drinking water," she added.
