India Politics Highlights | Tharoor very much part of Cong family but his remarks on surgical strike factually incorrect: SurjewalaAs India's all-party delegation continues to spread the word regarding India's new stance on countering terrorism, interesting things are happening in the political arena a little closer to home. PM Modi held a rally in Bengal's Alipurduar where he attacked Mamata Banerjee for blocking Centre's schemes in state. Banerjee, on the other hand hit out at PM and BJP saying it was saddening to see such language when the TMC is giving full support to Centre on international platform. Congress vs Shashi Tharoor continues as the party blows hot and cold with its MP even as Tharoor slammed 'zealots' over 'twisting his statements'. That's all for today, we will be back tomorrow with more updates across India's political spectrum. Goodnight!
