The Hindus will unite like they did in Haryana, Maharashtra and Delhi... BJP will win 200 seats and a double-engine govt will be formed here."

"Today, the February 10th, a no-confidence motion was being moved by the Congress in the Manipur Vidhan Sabha. This is being under consideration for quite some time, finally we were to move, the former Manipur CM saw the writing on the wall, he didn't have the support of his own MLAs, so he submitted the resignation, it has taken 20 months. It is a belated step, however it is not end of the story, the man responsible for the mess in Manipur is the Union Home Minister, the former Manipur CM was only the puppet. The PM had outsourced the entire Manipur issue to Home Minister. It's the Home Minister who should resign... The PM who is going abroad, has not visited the state for 20 months. Our demand is that the HM should resign and the PM must go to Manipur, understand the situation, and give a signal, he cares."
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal will meet Punjab MLAs in Delhi tomorrow. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Punjab MLAs who were campaigning in different areas for the Delhi elections will also be present in the meeting: AAP
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday criticised the Uttar Pradesh government over the severe traffic congestion in Prayagraj, claiming it has led to a shortage of essential commodities and inconvenienced devotees visiting the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Hitting out at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Yadav said no responsible minister or person is seen controlling the situation in Prayagraj.
The chief minister has proved to be a "complete failure", along with this the deputy chief minister while many well-known ministers related to Prayagraj are missing, the SP chief said.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met MNS head Raj Thackeray at the latter's residence here on Monday.
What transpired between the two leaders was not immediately known.
BJP MLC Prasad Lad said Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) head Thackeray had invited Fadnavis to his residence, located near Shivaji Park in Mumbai's Dadar area, but did not elaborate further.
Notably, Thackeray last month attacked the ruling BJP, stating the party once said leaders involved in a multi-crore scam would be put behind bars, but they were instead inducted into the state cabinet.
Everyone has freedom of speech, but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others...it is absolutely wrong, and action should be taken against them: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis.

"The opposition has always been raising the issue of Manipur. Somewhere or the other our pressure has worked. The sad thing is that the BJP does not have any plan to bring back peace in Manipur, they are only playing musical chairs of Chief Ministers. Since they did not have numbers for the no-confidence motion, they changed the Chief Minister. We want peace back in the state...We want the Prime Minister to intervene in this issue"
Congress leader Rashid Alvi said BJP has won the Delhi election because of Congress.
"...If Congress and Aam Aadmi Party had fought Delhi elections together, then BJP could not have won. Congress high command has to decide if we have to go with our allies or contest elections alone. What has happened in Delhi is a matter of worry for the Muslims in Delhi. This election in Delhi has forced them to think that BJP has won the election because of us (Congress). If we have to defeat BJP, we have to respect all parties in the INDIA alliance and also strengthen the alliance and fight elections unitedly...," he said.
Newly elected BJP candidate from Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency, Arvinder Singh Lovely said, "Our MLAs will have a meeting and then our top leadership will decide (CM face) and we all have to accept that... Arvind Kejriwal's govt had nothing to do with people's issues. Today, the people of Delhi are facing many issues - BJP has a big challenge now to get rid of all these issues and provide solutions for the same..."
"This should have come many months ago. Mr. Biren Singh has been the cause of the problem and its continuation for 21 months and is responsible for the conflicted people of Manipur... I now hope peace will return to Manipur... If the BJP can elect a leader who is acceptable to the ruling party, if they are not able to agree on it, there's no harm in the President's rule. Anyway, it is the central government's rule that runs in Manipur... When we were in the state, we brought about peace and development... Mr. Biren Singh is the sole cause of the problem and I am glad he left," P Chidambaram said.
