On Kunal Kamra row, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale says, "If he is an artist, he should not sing songs to criticise anyone. He should not get into such issues.
"It is not right to use such language. If he wants to call Eknath Shinde a traitor, he should first call Uddhav Thackeray a traitor because he, too, has betrayed the BJP... If he wants to be a good artist, he should not sing such songs."

On Kunal Kamra row, RJD MP Manoj Jha said, "...To divert attention from the key issues...what was the most important issue yesterday for Parliament? Alleging that the Budget is an assault on Delhi's education, health, cleanliness, Former Delhi CM Atishi told PTI, "It was evident from the Budget why Economic Survey was not presented. If there would have been a basis of 1 lakh crore Budget, if they had revenue of Rs 1 lakh crore, then they would have presented the Economic Survey. If it was presented, everything would have been clear. This Budget was presented on the basis of 'hawahawai' figures. I urge the government to present the Economic Survey. Not only that, the Budget that was presented, it cleared the intention of BJP, they want to finish government schools, for the first time in 10 years, the allocation was below 20 pc... The allocation for health was reduced from 16-17 pc to 13 pc, they want to destroy the health model of Delhi including Mohalla Clinics. They also want to paralyse the cleanliness, in the history of Delhi, MCD allocation was never reduced in next budget, it was reduced by 1,526 crore."
The BJP on Tuesday held protests in various parts of the state against Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar's purported comments regarding changing the Constitution to accommodate four per cent reservation for Muslims in the state.
However, the senior congress leader on Monday denied making any such comments and claimed that he was "misquoted".
Shivakumar's response came in the wake of the BJP forcing repeated adjournments in the Lok Sabha on Monday over his alleged remarks on the matter.
The Bihar Legislative Council on Tuesday witnessed yet another spat between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Leader of the Opposition Rabri Devi who was told by the former that she was inconsequential, but for being the wife of RJD president Lalu Prasad.
The JD(U) president's fresh fit of temper was caused by the sight of RJD MLCs reaching the House wearing badges, dyed in green, the colour of the party flag, with slogans declaring that quotas for deprived castes had been hiked in the state by the "Tejashwi government" and were "stolen" after BJP returned to power.
Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD supremo's son and heir apparent, was the Deputy CM when the quotas were hiked through legislations passed in 2023, which were, however, quashed by the Patna High Court months later.
Bihar's longest-serving CM was visibly miffed at the attempt by his former ally to steal credit for the populist move and he made one of the MLCs stand up so that the badge and the slogans on it could be seen clearly.
Staring upwards in the direction of the media gallery, the septuagenarian said, "Just look at this spectacle. You can see this only in this party".
Rabri Devi rose in protest against the derision of her party, only to be snubbed by Kumar with the remark, in Bihari slang, "You just stay out of this. The party is not yours but that of your husband".
The Council has been witness to the war of words between Kumar and Rabri Devi a few times recently.
BJP's Central Disciplinary Committee has issued show-cause notices to five party leaders from Karnataka - Katta Subramanya Naidu, MP Renukacharya, BP Harish, Shivaram Hebbar and ST Somshekhar for making unwarranted comments on the party’s internal affairs in public forums. They have been given 72 hours to explain why the party should not take action against them
