Multinational corporations, co-working spaces, and an increasing demand for smart, energy-efficient workplaces will fuel phenomenal growth in the area, he said as the company announced the launch of ORGATEC India, the event for workspace design, furniture, and technology.

It is scheduled to be held from November 4 till November 6, 2025, at the Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai. ORGATEC India will bring together global and local leaders to explore business opportunities, foster connections, and showcase innovations shaping the future of workspaces, he said.

ORGATEC India highlights transformative innovations in workplace design, including sustainable building technologies, adaptive workspaces, and advanced design solutions. With Global Capability Centers (GCCs) reshaping the office landscape, it’s projected that GCCs will lease 40-45 per cent of total office space in India this year, expanding to over 1,900 centers supporting 2 million professionals by 2025, a statement said.

Preeti Singh, Additional Director General, National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), said that, "At NAREDCO, we are committed to advancing our Honourable Prime Minister's vision under the PMAY scheme through skilling initiatives, while also prioritizing affordable housing and exploring extensive expansion into tier 2 and tier 3 cities for green and sustainable solutions."

Oliver Frese, COO, Koelnmesse GmbH, said, “By bringing the best global solutions to the Indian market, ORGATEC India is more than just an exhibition — it’s a transformative movement redefining workspace.”

Koelnmesse, German based firm, is the world’s leading trade fair organiser for the areas of living, contract and public spaces, the statement added.
