As IndiGo cancelled all domestic departures from the Delhi airport on Friday, flight ticket prices of other airlines rose exponentially.

Delhi airport operator DIAL said operations of all other carriers remain as scheduled.

"IndiGo domestic flights departing from Delhi Airport on 5th December 2025 are cancelled till midnight today (till 23:59 hours)," Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) said in a post on X.

DIAL also said its dedicated onground teams are working diligently with all partners to mitigate the disruption and ensure a comfortable passenger experience.

India's largest airline has been facing operational issues due to several problems, including crew shortage and the new pilot rest rules.

Here are the flight ticket prices from Delhi to major Indian cities as of 1 pm on Friday.

Delhi-Bengaluru 

The cheapest flight from Delhi to Bengaluru on Friday as of 12:30 pm was Rs 38,378, offered by Akasa Air. The prices range up to Rs 1,02,000 by Air India. This flight includes a layover of close to five hours at Thiruvananthapuram.

Delhi-Mumbai

Passengers travelling from the national capital to the country's financial capital will have to shell out at least Rs 34,058 for an Air India flight ticket. Meanwhile, the costliest is a whooping Rs 1,68,210 in an Etihad flight, which has a three-hour layover at Abu Dhabi, as per a flight ticket aggregator.

Delhi-Hyderabad

On Friday, there are no Indian flights from Delhi to Hyderabad. The only two flights are being offered by Etihad Airlines for Rs 1,05,556 which will take over 29 hours, including a layover of 22 hours at Abu Dhabi, according to Skyscanner.

Delhi-Chennai

Skyscanner showed two IndiGo flights. However, since all flights being operated by the airline have been cancelled from Delhi, the only available option is the Etihad Airlines flight, the ticket in which costs Rs 72,000 and a layover of 10 hours at Abu Dhabi.

Delhi-Kolkata

Flyers from Delhi to Kolkata have only two SpiceJet flights to choose from. The cheapest ticket is priced at Rs 37,075. In the other flight, it is Rs 38,034.

Delhi-Ahmedabad flight prices 

Air India is offering a ticket on its aircraft for Rs 24,027 for a trip from Delhi to Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, the costliest ticket is also being offered by Air India at Rs 81,000. This flight has a nine hour layover at the Mumbai.

Delhi-Pune

According to Sky Scanner, only two IndiGo flights are available from Delhi to Pune, effectively meaning that there are no flights connecting the two cities on Friday.
