India on Thursday informed Pakistan of its decision to keep Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance with immediate effect, saying Pakistan has breached conditions of the treaty.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will travel to Jammu and Kashmir on April 25 and meet those injured in the Pahalgam terror attack, Congress sources said on Thursday.
They said Gandhi will visit the Government Medical College (GMC) in Anantnag to enquire about the health of the injured.

Risking his own life, a Kashmiri tourist guide saved the lives of children from a group of tourists from Chhattisgarh when terrorists struck in Pahalgam on Tuesday.
Nazakat Ahmad Shah (28) was acting as a guide to a group of 11, four couples and three children, from Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district in Chhattisgarh during their Kashmir trip.
Shah's cousin was killed in the attack that claimed the lives of 26 persons, he told PTI over the phone on Thursday.
Arvind Agrawal, one of the tourists, posted pictures of him and his daughter with Shah on his social media handle and wrote, "You saved our lives by risking your own. We will never be able to repay the debt of Nazakat Bhai."
"At the beginning of the event, we paid tribute to all those, including six people from Maharashtra, who tragically lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack two days ago. Revenge must be taken to ensure that those who are responsible for this attack are shown their place. The Prime Minister has already made significant decisions. India's army chief will review security arrangements on Friday and visit the site of a deadly attack on tourists in Indian Kashmir earlier this week, an incident that has led to a fresh crisis with long-time rival and neighbour Pakistan.
India has said there were Pakistani elements in Tuesday's attack, when militants shot 26 men in a meadow in the Pahalgam area, and Islamabad has denied any involvement.

A total of 191 Pakistani nationals visiting India returned home through the Attari-Wagah land route in Punjab's Amritsar on Friday, after the Centre set a 48-hour deadline for them to leave the country in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, officials said.
A total of 287 Indian nationals, who were visiting the neighbouring country, have also returned, they added. (PTI)
A Kashmiri student has claimed that she was harassed by some locals in Punjab's Mohali in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, prompting the Punjab State Women Commission to take suo motu cognisance of the incident.
The female Kashmiri student in Kharar stated that some locals abused and harassed her and her friend on Wednesday following the attack that killed 26 people, mostly tourists, in J&K's Pahalgam town. (PTI)
