All the flying objects entered from the Pakistan side and returned after hovering for a few minutes, PTI reported citing officials.

Security forces have launched a search operation following the suspected activity in forward areas. Army troops in the Nowshera sector of the LoC also fired at the drones using light and medium machine guns upon spotting the drones over the Gania-Kalsian village at around 6.35 pm, the report added.

A drone was also noticed in the Khabbar village of Rajouri district around the same time.

According to officials the object, with a blinking light, came from the direction of Dharmsal village in Kalakote and moved further towards Bharakh.

Further, similar object was seen hovering for several minutes over Chak Barbal village in Ramgarh sector of Samba at around 7:15 pm.

Another drone-like object was seen coming from Tain towards Topa in Mankote sector, located along the LoC, in Poonch district at 6.25 pm.

This comes only two days after security forces on January 9 had recovered an arms consignment, allegedly delivered by Pakistani drones in Paloora village of Ghagwal near the IB in Samba district.

The weapons included two pistols, three magazines, 16 rounds and a grenade.
