According to police, the tourist identified as Naga Keisuke (29) had arrived in the city on October 23 and stayed at Peace Guest House. Yesterday, after returning to his room, he did not come out till late in the afternoon today.
The guest house staff reported the matter to police following which they broke into the room and found him dead on the bed.Police suspected that Naga was a drug addict.
His body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of the death, police said.
