The report of the commission headed by retired Justice S N Dhingra,  probing land deals in Gurgaon during the previous Congress rule, including the controversial land deal between Robert Vadra and realty major DLF, is likely to “censure” Vadra’s company for alleged wrongdoings, it is learnt.

The term of the commission ends on Wednesday.

All deals that are under the scanner took place during the Congress regime under chief minister B S Hooda. Certain official wrongdoing has also been documented in the report. Realty major DLF could escape strictures given that the real estate company came into the picture only after licence was granted by the Hooda government to Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Vadra's Skylight Hospitality Limited, said sources.

The report is likely to come down on the processes followed to grant licence to Vadra’s company. A report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) had already pointed out irregularities in such deals.

The report of the commission was earlier scheduled to be submitted in June. However, at the last minute, Justice Dhingra decided to hold back his report. He reasoned that he had received certain important documents that indicated some benami transactions.
