. The arrested is Dharma alias Beemappa. He was involved in a crime in Panambur division and was an undertrial at Mangalore jail. On interrogation, he revealed his involvement in the robbery of the bank and had informed the police that 78.04 gm gold worth Rs 85,000 has been kept in his hose at Koorikatta in Meenakaliya which was seized by the police. The police are looking for another accused Durgappa.
4 hurt in mishap
Four persons were injured when a bus turned turtle at Anegudde in Moodbidre on Monday. According to police, the injured are Sumathi, Vasanth, Sunitha and Surekha Daregudde.
