Two more persons, one from BBMP area and another person from Bengaluru Urban have succumbed to Influenza A (H1N1).
With this, about 10 persons have died due to the flu in the state since January this year. According to the latest update, about 584 persons have tested positive for the flu of the 5,348 swab samples being tested.
Bengaluru tops the number of positive cases by reporting 99 cases, followed by Shivamogga (60), Bengaluru Urban (58) and Chikkamagaluru (35).
The number of deaths due to suspected H1N1 symptoms in Dakshina Kannada district had increased to four in October.
District Health Officer Dr Ramakrishna Rao said a 48-year-old mother Aramma and her 25-year-old daughter Jabina from Sajipanadu in Bantwal, Abdulla (50) of Kudupu and Jamila (38) from Halekote in Ullal died of suspected H1N1 virus.
