Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday said it has identified 25 projects across various sectors along the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC).
Tamil Nadu Minister for Highways Edappadi K Palaniswami told the Assembly that the Chennai–Bengaluru–Chitradurga (around 560 km) corridor would have an influence area spread across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
“A total of 25 priority projects across various sectors have been identified for debottlenecking infrastructure shortcomings in the region in the preliminary study conducted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA),” he said.
