Tumakuru: Three youngsters died after the bike they were riding on crashed into the rear of a container on a stretch of the National Highway-48 near Nandihalli in Tumakuru on Friday morning.
Employees of a solar plant in Dobbaspet, all three victims – Dhanush Gowda (23) of Tumakuru city, 25-year-old Rajesh from Gubbi and Dhanaraju (23) from Chitradurga – were returning from work when tragedy struck.
All three of them reportedly died on the spot. Parents of the three youngsters, who gathered at the Tumakuru District Hospital, to receive the mortal remains of their sons, were beside themselves with grief.
