Three of a family were killed on the spot, while 20 others were injured after a bus operated by Seabird Tourists in which they were travelling toppled near Ullur village in Sagar taluk on late Wednesday night.
The deceased have been identified as Sujatha (40), a resident of Karki village in Honnavar taluk, her daughter Keerthana (12) and Mohammad Yasin (16) of Palvanahalli in Hiriyur taluk.
The injured are being treated at hospital in Shivamoga.
