KSRTC bus crashes into a house at Balehonnur in Chikkamagaluru.

Balehonnur (Chikkamagaluru): A KSRTC bus traveling from Bengaluru to Sringeri lost control near Jayapura, between Moorugadde and Jaladurga, and fell on a house of one Puttappa Poojary, injuring 30 passengers.
There were 45 passengers on board the bus, which belonged to the Bengaluru depot.
Ten people were admitted to the government hospital in Jayapura, and two—including the driver Venkappa—were shifted to Koppa hospital for advanced treatment.
Shanta, a resident of the house that the bus crashed into, also sustained injuries from the impact. Local residents quickly helped in shifting the injured to the hospital.
Locals claimed that overspeeding was the main cause of the accident. The bus was old and may not have been well-maintained, alleged locals.
A case has been registered at Jayapura station.
