Bengaluru: As many as 41 multidisciplinary teams will present net-zero building design solutions and sustainable cooling product designs at an event on the Infosys campus of Mysuru from May 23 to 25.

Solar Decathlon India, an annual net-zero building design challenge, has over 300 industries partnered with students from 150 institutions. The teams were told to work on real-world solutions to accelerate India's transition to net zero buildings.

The 41 finalist teams were selected from 2,100 undergraduate & postgraduate students from 175 teams. Over 9 months, teams came up with solutions for real world problems. They will present prototypes of solutions.

The event is conducted by Indian Institute for Human Settlements and Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy under the aegis of Indo-US Science & Technology Forum.
