Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Covid positive total this year has crossed 800 cases, with the addition of 41 positive cases as of Friday.

There are now 444 active cases of Covid and a cumulative of 837 cases recorded since January 1.

At least 386 patients have recovered since the beginning of this year, according to the Covid bulletin published by the state health department on Friday. All the active cases are isolating at home.

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 576 Covid tests have been conducted, including 538 RT-PCR tests and 38 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT).

The state's positivity rate in the past 24 hours stood at 7.1 per cent. No deaths were recorded on Friday.
