The arrested are Mohammed Ashrf (30), Saifuddin (22), Hanif (25), Mohammed Nasir (21), Seeraj (40). They had assaulted Yogini, Ganesh Bangera, Shodhana, Karthesh by forcibly entering their house. Police have seized weapons used for the crime.
It was said that one Harshith while speaking over phone on road had verbal duel with Saifuddin and Mohammed Nasir over silly reason. However, Shodan pacified both the parties.
Later, Saifuddin along with four others forcibly entered the house of Ganesh Bangera and assaulted the members.
2 held for stealing diesel
Police arrested two person who were involved the stealing diesel from tankers at Baikampady Industrial area. The arrested are Sudhir Shetty and Damodara Poojary. However, Nagesh and Kishor have fled the spot.
Police have seized property worth Rs six lakh including tanker, 12,120 litre diesel, 12 litre petrol and barrel cans. A case has been registered in this regard.
