Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 61 new cases of Covid-19, taking the active caseload to 423.

Of the 325 new tests done, 61 came back positive. The number of RT-PCR tests was 313 and RAT tests 12. The positivity rate stood at 18.7 per cent. 

No new deaths have been reported. 

Of the 423 active cases, 416 patients are in home isolation. Of the remaining seven patients, six are undergoing treatment in private hospitals. The lone patient in a government facility is in the ICU. 

Since the beginning of this year, Karnataka has reported 955 cases of Covid-19. Of them, 523 have been discharged, 423 are under isolation/treatment and nine have died, according to the bulletin released by the health department on Sunday.
