Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Rameswar Teli on Thursday informed Rajya Sabha that eight more ESI hospitals will be set up in Karnataka.
These hospitals would come up at Doddaballapur, Shivamogga, Bommasandra, Narasapura, Harohalli, Ballari, Tumakuru and Udupi.
Replying to BJP Rajya Sabha member Narayana Koragappa’s question, the Minister said that the ESI has given in principle approval for setting up hospitals. These hospitals comprise 100 beds each.
