Police raided a ladies’ bar in Saibeen Complex and rescued over eight women being forced into performing obscene dances on Monday evening.
Sandeep Patil, City Commissioner of Police, told DH that the police, acting on a specific complaint, raided the Golden Gate Bar in Saibeen Complex.
Eight women, who had been forced into obscene dancing, too, were rescued.
“Five men have been detained for questioning. A case will be registered against the owner of the Golden Gate Bar. He was not present at the time of the raid,” said Patil.
A case was registered at Barke Police Station and investigations are on.
