The crew of Kantara - Chapter 1, who were filming the movie in a forest after obtaining permission, will face action in case they have violated any of the conditions imposed by the department, Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre said.

Responding to queries by media persons over alleged violations by the team. "Hombale Films had sought permission and the Hassan Deputy Conservator of Forests had issued the same with conditions. There were complaints that explosives were used close to the forests. I have directed the officials to look into the matter and submit a report. Action will be taken in case of violations," he said.

To another question, Khandre said the crew of the Yash-starrer Toxic, Canara Bank and HMT Ltd have been booked for the violations in the Peenya Plantation land. "They have got a stay from the high court, which has stopped the probe. We will file an affidavit praying the court to lift the stay," the minister added.
