Darshan, who received bail from the High Court on December 13, was admitted at the BGS Gleneagles in Kengeri for medical treatment for “severe back pain”, on which grounds he was granted interim bail for six weeks on October 30.

Darshan signed the Rs 1 lakh bail bond and his brother Dinakar Thoogudeepa and actor Dhanveer stood as sureties, according to reports.

After completion of the procedures, the actor returned to the hospital to continue the treatment.

Darshan, his friend Pavithra Gowda and 15 others were charged by the Bengaluru police in the murder of Renukaswamy from Chitradurga. Renukaswamy’s mangled body was found disposed of near a stormwater drain in Sumanahalli on June 9. Subsequently, the police arrested the actor and his accomplices.
