There is a conspiracy of the JD(S) in the attack on journalists on city court premises in Bangalore by advocates, alleged MP H Vishwanath.

Addressing a press meet here on Sunday, he said, ex-chief minister H D Kumarswamy is misrepresenting facts about the incident. “According to him, a few people from Bellary who wore black coats have attacked journalists. His statement defends vandalism of advocates.

To create problem to Bangalore city police commissioner Jyothi Prakash Mirji, the family of H D Deve Gowda itself has attacked journalists through advocates. Let them prove that there is no relationship between arrested advocate A P Ranganath and Deve Gowda’s family,” he challenged.

“Even after three hours of the incident, the home minister had not ordered action against the advocates. The drama of judicial inquiry will just dissolve the truth, thus investigations should be carried out by able police officers. Let CM Sadananda Gowda write to the Bar Council to cancel the registration of the advocates involved in the incidence and take action against them,” he added.

Bill collectors of village panchayat have not been paid salaries and Anganavadi staff are being paid once in two months. With all these problems in the state, there was no need for the government to spend lakhs of rupees on ‘Savalathugala Santhe’ programme, he said.

How fair is it to order disconnection of water and power to houses of the beneficiaries who did not attend the programme?, he questioned.
