Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday held a preliminary meeting with the Finance Department to take stock of the state’s fiscal position ahead of the 2026-27 Budget, which is expected to be presented in March.
According to a Finance Department official, there was a general briefing to the CM about the fiscal position and preliminary preparations. The 2026-27 Budget will be Siddaramaiah’s record 17th one as the Finance Minister.
