U-SOFA aims at children and adults with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies. It would provide multidisciplinary assessment and rehabilitation of clients; would develop specialised speech assessment and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, and study the effects of various rehabilitation techniques.

The objectives of the Learning Disability Clinic include early identification of students; individualised remediation programmes; serving as a nodal centre for issue of certificates for certain educational concessions and developing related literature.

According to the press release, the department of clinical services at AIISH, over the years, has seen a gradual and alarming increase in the number of persons with MSD.

Approximately 90 children with cerebral palsy report every month to the Institute. Hence the Special Clinic for persons with MSD would provide systematic assessment and rehabilitation services by adopting state-of-the-art technology and bring awareness among the public.

Staff members  and meritorious students would be awarded. Annual report and material for assessment and rehabilitation of communication disorders will be released.

In the evening retired employees and those who have completed 25 years of service would be felicitated.
