Aim high in life, students toldPratibha Karanji prizes distributed at Morarji Desai Residential School

He was speaking at the inauguration of the School’s cultural programme, parents day and Pratibha Karanji prize distribution ceremony organised at the Morarji Desai Model Residential School for Minorities, at Peresandra village of Chikkaballapur taluk.

Students, after passing out from the schools, should ensure that they try to attain higher positions in their respective careers. They should also make efforts to help the poor and downtrodden, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of the Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department C T Muddukumar said, the teachers of Morarji Desai Schools should aim at improving the quality of education. They should also ensure that benefits of the government’s programmes should reach the students, he added.

Gram Panchayat President Munilakshmamma, member Gayathramma, Head Mistress of Government High School Vedavathi, Secretary of Jamia Masjid Bhabu Sab, leader Govindswamy and several others also spoke on the occasion.

Teachers Venkatesh, Saritha and others were present . Principal D Y Manjunath, welcomed the gathering and proposed a vote of thanks. Shameem Pasha compered the programme.
