Inauguration of activities of AMI, Mysore Chapter for the year 2011 was held at Assembly Hall at Central Food Technology Research Institute. Dr Yogesh S Souche, Senior Scientist, Molecular Biology Unit, National Centre for Cell Science, Pune was the chief guest and addressed the gathering on topic: ‘Who we are and where we come from: Microbiologist’s perspective’.
Dr G Venkateshwara Rao, Director CFTRI presided over the function, according to a press release.
Yoga therapy
A month-long Yoga course would be held for men and women at JSS Ayurveda Hospital on Lalithadripura road from Sept 8. In the duration, men and women across age groups would be taught to manage diabetes and Asthama by way of doing Yoga, a press release said.
Interested candidates can register their names at the hospital.
