Amit Shah to visit Mysuru on June 10

BJP national president Amit Shah is scheduled to visit the city on June 10. During his visit, he will inaugurate the Jana Kalyana Parva convention organised at the Maharaja College grounds.

Addressing a press meet, president of the city BJP unit Maruti Rao Pawar said that during the convention Shah would brief party workers othe importance of several welfare projects introduced by the Central government.

He said about 15,000 people from Mysuru, Chamarajanagar and Mandya districts were expected to participate in the convention. Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Ananth Kumar, state BJP president Pralhad Joshi, National vice president B S Yeddyurappa and others are expected to participate in the meet. Shah will also lay the foundation stone for the new office of the BJP in the City, Pawar said.
