The AMUCT, in its resolution, has urged the government to fill vacant teaching and non-teaching posts in aided colleges.

The resolutions passed during the 32nd AGM of AMUCT include expressing serious concern over the inordinate delay in release salary regularly to the aided college employees and to provide age relaxation to the service teachers while making new appointments.

The resolution opposed the move by the college managements to close admission to any aided courses and request the UGC to rectify the errors in the implementation of sixth UGC pay scale, since 2006 and to implement seventh UGC pay review committee report.

The resolution has also urged the government to revise valuation remuneration and related allowances.
