The Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) personnel have carried out combing operations in search of Maoists in Brahmagiri hilly ranges in Kodagu district.
In the backdrop of Maoists being spotted at Tirunelli in Kerala, ANF SP Arunankshagiri visited Kurchi and Kutta, situated on the foothills of Brahmagiri.
Five teams of ANF personnel have been formed to carry out combing operations in the district.
