Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly and former chief minister Jagadish Shettar challenged the Congress party on Sunday to announce Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as its next CM candidate.
Pointing out that BJP had announced BS Yeddyurappa as its CM candidate a year ago, Shettar said Congress hesitates to announce Siddaramaiah as the CM candidate because it fears a rebellion among its leaders.
