The visit comes in the wake of the Supreme Court direction to assist the State government in reconstruction of the collapsed cave.
The team collected information on the geographical features of the area and took photographs.
However, the officials refused to divulge any details regarding renovation works to the media.
PWD Engineer Madegowda and Harish Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Dayananda, Dattapeeta administrative officer C U Poovaiah briefed the officials on the renovation work.
