Mysuru: A video clipping of a group of youths intercepting an autorickshaw, pulling out a woman and attacking her has been circulated on the social media. The incident has occurred on 12th Cross, Ramanuja Road, in Mysuru around 9 pm on Thursday.
"On Thursday night, a family was travelling in an autorickshaw. A group of youths followed them in a car, waylaid the auto, tried to drag a woman out, and attempted to assault her with a machete. Further information is not available. It looks like a family dispute," the police said.
The CCTV footage shows four individuals, who arrived in a car, dragging out a woman from the auto. A young man is seen holding a machete to prevent people on the road from approaching the vehicle. Krishnaraja Police Station personnel are investigating the case.
