Bengaluru: Weeks after he resigned as CM Siddaramaiah’s policy and planning advisor, senior Congress lawmaker B R Patil was appointed as deputy chairperson of the Karnataka State Policy and Planning Commission on Monday.
Patil will have the rank of a Cabinet minister, says a notification by the department of planning, programme monitoring and Statistics. It was said that the Aland MLA was upset with the rejection of his plea for grants.
