In the wake of fire mishaps, Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) has issued an order prohibiting entry of tourists into Tadiyandamol hills.

Precautionary measures have been initiated with an aim of preserving wildlife and also for the safety of tourists and trekkers who turn up in large numbers at Tadiyandamol hills during weekends and holidays. Tadiyandamol is the highest peak in the district.

The Forest Department has said that the entry to the hill will be reopened after the rainy season.
