These tillers and tractors start plying on the road behind the Pharmacy College in Ward No 8 at 5 am to collect water from the private bore well of a resident.

Sleep affected
The sound pollution caused by its movement is affecting the sleep of all the residents. Students who are busy preparing for their exams are the worst hit, explained the protesters.Even though, the bore well is meant for household use it is being used for commercial purpose. Hence, action should be initiated against the owner of the house. However, no action has been taken despite repeated complaints being made to the CMC, the protesters demanded.
