A question paper of BEd second-semester examination of Gulbarga University leaked on Sunday night.
The question paper of the subject, ‘Pedagogic Tools, Techniques and Approach’ went viral on WhatsApp and some students even forwarded the image of the question paper to the Registrar (Evaluation), Dr C S Patil on Sunday night itself.
“The examination commenced at 10 am on Monday. I received images of the leaked question paper on my WhatsApp from an unknown number at around 10.35 am. The message also stated that the question paper of tomorrow’s (Monday’s) exam had been leaked,” he said. Patil, however, said the exam was held on Monday.
Patil added that every question paper of the university has a barcode. However, the question paper circulated onWhatsApp doesn’t have a barcode. He also suspected mischief behind the incident, but added that a high-level enquiry would be conducted into the incident.
He said a decision on conducting re-examination would be taken after discussing the issue with the vice chancellor and syndicate members.
