Belagavi: Malmaruti Police Inspector (PI) J M Kalimirchi, who drew the ire of Kannada activists by taking a selfie with an MES leader during the Samiti’s Black Day rally on Rajyotsava day, has been transferred without showing the place of posting.
Kalimirchi had taken a selfie with Shubham Shelke, a rowdy-sheeter known for his anti-Kannada stand, during MES’ black day rally on November 1. The video clip went viral on social media.
