A large number of people visit the Flower Show at Lalbagh

Bengaluru: The Maharishi Valmiki-themed Republic Day flower show at Lalbagh Botanical Garden witnessed over 1.17 lakh visitors on Sunday.
Officials reported that a total of Rs 65 lakh was collected just on Republic Day.
The flower show witnessed 81,250 adults and 35,811 children for the Republic Day showing at Lalbagh. Over the past 11 days, the famous flower show witnessed 4.38 lakh visitors.
The flower show will continue till January 27.
Last year, the flower show was themed around the 12th-century social reformer Basaveshwara, with the revenue of Rs 2.59 crore and was visited by over six lakh people, including one lakh on Republic Day alone.
