2 college students killed, 2 injured in car crash

Bengaluru: Two college students died and two others were injured after their car, allegedly driven rashly and negligently, crashed into a tree at Ragihalli Forest Road around 11 pm on Monday.

All four were students of T John College in Gottigere. The deceased, identified as Shahuq (28) and Arshu (23), were seated in the front and reportedly died on the spot due to severe injuries. The injured, Deva Narayana, 23, and Sahil, 23, who were in the back seat, are undergoing treatment.

All the occupants were from Kerala.

The Bannerghatta police have registered a case and are investigating whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
