The city police have arrested three people, including a national of Ghana, and recovered 20 kg of marijuana from their possession.
The accused have been identified as B Mahendra Babu (27) and K Jayasurya (24), from Andhra Pradesh, and Anthony Amihere (45) from Ghana, who is a resident of Chikkabanavara, the police said. The accused were arrested when they were trying to sell the drugs to clients near the Hennur Bande area on Friday night.
The police have booked them under various sections of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act and are investigating to ascertain the source of the drugs.
