38 injured after BMTC bus falls into tank

The BMTC bus was moving from Bangalore to Anekal. Near the tank a tractor transporting eucalyptus polls lost control and turned turtle. All the polls were scattered over the road and the bus ran over some polls resulting in the bus falling into the tank.

As many as 38 passengers in the bus were injured. Of them the condition of eight is said to be critical with head injuries and they have been sent to Bangalore for treatment. The other injured are being treated at the local government hospital.

The family of Narasimhamurthy of Anekal, including an eight-month old baby received injuries. They were returning after visiting their relatives at Kamakshipalya, Bangalore.
